The CommSync II family of modular systems provide GPS time and frequency outputs to meet your synchronization requirements. All systems include support for multiple input and output modules including 1PPS, IRIG, HAVE QUICK, PTTI, IEEE-1588 PTPv2, low phase noise 1, 5, and 10 MHz sine wave as well as custom outputs.These systems are available with military SAASM MPE-S GB-GRAM, SAASM Force 22E MRU or civilian C/A GPS receivers. Rubidium or OCXO oscillators provide for excellent holdover performance in the event of failure of the reference inputs. In addition, they may be configured as Distribution Time and Frequency (DTF) systems that are synchronized by an external reference. The J2190A active filter presents a high impedance (approximately 150kOhms) minimizing the loading of the circuit being tested. The output impedance is 50 Ohms allowing low noise coaxial connections to all typical test equipment. The 0.1Hz-10Hz noise band is common for opamp measurements, voltage regulators and voltage references. Many application notes offer schematics of such a filter for test purposes. An engineer’s time is much too valuable to be spent building test equipment. We have created a 4th order high pass and 4th order low pass filter with an optimally flat response and 0dB gain. Additional filters can be cascaded for even sharper cutoff.

Multi Channel Optical Fibre Verification
The multi-channel optical fibre test system is used in the development and qualification of single mode optical fibres. The fibres are exposed to environmental influences in a climatic chamber in order to analyse the data on insertion loss and reflection. In addition, the current temperature in the climatic chamber is documented. Insertion loss measurement is performed with the help of an optical power meter, laser sources and optical switches. An Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) from Exfo is used for the reflection measurements. The system was designed for the simultaneous characterization of 15 sample fibres and one reference fibre.

RF One Power Meter
