68CB6
The 68CB6 is a Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) 3U OpenVPX™ board that is preconfigured with 10 different “inboard” I/O, measurement and communication functions. This Combination-function Board (CB) provides a full suite of some of the most common & useful function interfaces supporting many different applications. The 68CB6 features a wide but dedicated selection of functions: Standard Functionality Discrete I/O (DT1); Successive Approximation Register (SAR) ±100 V Analog-to-Digital (AD); Isolated High Voltage Analog-to-Digital (ADF); ±10 V Digital-to-Analog (DA); Thermocouple (TC1) or Resistance Temperature Detector (RT1); Full-bridge Strain Gauge (SG1); Transmission/gear box Chip Detection and Fuzz Burn (CD1); LVDT-to-Digital linear (LD6) displacement (position) measurement, AC Reference Source output (AC2); CAN bus communication (CB8). The 68CB6 offers unparalleled programming flexibility, a wide range of operating characteristics, and a unique design that eliminates the need for external intermediate circuit considerations such as pull-up resistors or mechanical configuration jumpers. Inboard functions are software controlled and memory addressed, accessed in similar COSA® modular fashion to maintain seamless common NAI Software Support Kit & API/library structures.

Multiplying Current Output D/A Converters
Analog Devices offers a wide range of high precision, multiplying current output (IOUT) D/A converters (DACs) that feature ±1 LSB INL and DNL specifications, from 12-bit up to an industry-leading 18-bit resolution. Our portfolio includes single and multiple D/A converters in small packages with parallel or serial SPI interfaces. Multiplying current output R-2R D/A converters allow for an external amplifier that’s optimized for specific applications and that does not require reference buffering, which enables high linearity. The SoftSpan™ feature allows software selectable output spans, therefore eliminating the need to add precision gain stages and the associated external jumpers, precision resistors, and amplifier circuitry. Integrated precision resistors allow for reference inversion, bipolar offset, and offset and gain adjustment.

VME Analog Output Module
DP-VME-2115
DP-VME-2115 is an industrial standard 24 channel D/A (Digital to Analog) board. It incorporates most of the features which are demanded in industrial applications. Each Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) is provided with a separate reference voltage selection either from internally generated reference or from the external input. This external input reference signal is passed into the protection circuits before it is fed to any active components. The input protection circuit is designed for ± 25Vp-p input ranges. The DAC output may be unipolar or bipolar and the output is jumper selectable, which is routed to the VME P2 connector, with short circuit protection of upto 30mA.

Shunt Voltage References
Analog Devices offers a broad line of shunt precision voltage references that combine excellent accuracy and temperature stability with low noise and small packages. These devices operate in a manner that is functionally equivalent to a Zener diode. The bias current must be set higher than the sum of the maximum quiescent current of the voltage reference and the maximum expected load current. Since shunt voltage references are typically biased with a resistor, the voltage reference can operate on a wide range of input voltages.
