The TE5100 is a 100MHz Direct Digital Synthesized Signal Generator available in a 3U, CompactPCI or straight PCI format. The TE5100 generates Sine and ACMOS/TTL output signals simultaneously up to 100MHz in 1 µHz steps. Sweep, FSK, Chirp and Single Tone are generated on board. The virtual panel allows control up to 100MHz of all parameters. The TE5100 is equipped with a ±1ppm on-board TCXO clock and can accept an external clock source.

6 sided Bed of Nails circuit board test fixture. Probes top bottom and all 4 sides. Central camming mechanism pull plates inward. Mechanically or electrically actuated options. Designed primarily for testing products in plastics. Side access electrically probes outside panel connectors. The unit will also optically read LEDs and key segments off LCD displays. Solenoids will press buttons and servos will turn selector switches. DC motors are used to adjust multiple turn potentiometers. Microphone will detect audio output tones. Top and bottom of circuit boards can also be probed if removable access panels are available. This unit will also probe all 6 sides of a circuit board. This is typically utilized in applications where connector testing is required.

The Snapshot cable checker gives professionals and layman the ability to check cables instantly upon plug-in, with no buttons pressed or displays read. With its built-in memory, the Snapshot simply checks each cable plugged in against a correctly-configured cable pre-set by the user, and indicates the cable’s status with a sound. For pin-by-pin cable checking, the 〝standard check〞mode offers a plain LED-displayed check of the cable’s pins, checked automatically or manually. The Snapshot also generates a tone along the length of cables, making finding and following the cable with a tone probe a snap. A remote unit allows testing of already-installed cables, and a built-in line tester verifies phone line polarity and detects voltage before it threatens the safety of the test unit. A shield-test feature automatically tests cable shielding and a battery-low indicator prevents misreading results.

New PK-232 firmware (Ver. 7.2) allows a wider selection of filters than the original PK-232, so the filter can match the mode. The correct DSP filter is automatically selected when you choose an internal mode. In RTTY, Timewave’s proven Twin Peak Filters pluck the mark and space tones from the noise and QRM for great copy. In PACTOR, the filter bandwidth automatically changes when the baud rate shifts in response to the error rate of the link. In Morse (CW), the operator can preset either 100 Hz or 200 Hz bandwidth.
