The Handyscope HS5 is the first USB oscilloscope (USB powered) sampling at 200 MHz, with a 14 bits resolution and a 250 MHz bandwidth. This makes it possible to analyze very fast signals with very small amplitudes. The smallest distortions can be revealed due to the high resolution and bandwidth. Because of the deep memory (up to 64 MSamples on one channel), long record measurements are available for intermittent phenomena and Fast Fourier Transform calculations with over 32 million spectral lines can be performed. Using very fast FFT algorithms, an FFT with 1 million spectral lines can be performed within a second.

Event Detector
The Event Detector automatically extracts sound events from an entire sound file according to the user's event specifications. The user digitizes sound data into a continuous sound file, then configures the Event Detector for the events of interest. Detection is based on spectral, temporal, and amplitude criteria. The detector scans the entire file, identifying the desired events and extracting them to individual sound files or measuring their parameters. Detected events can be immediately analyzed in SIGNAL to measure, count, compare, classify, time-stamp, and store sound events and sound parameters. Event Counter

Event counter is sleek system used to keep track of events. Event counter system is an independent unit with LED, event and reset buttons used for user interface. User generated events are displayed by LED (seven segment display scheme). Event counter Board consists of Microcontroller, counters, monostable multivibrator, transmitters & receivers (RX232, RX422). Event button is used to increment the events and reset button is used to reset the count value. Events are displayed on seven segment display mechanism for visual analysis. Event counter unit starts count from 000 and counts upto 999 events on pressing the event push button.
