Transient Limiters
Transient limiter LIT-153A and LIT-930A protects a spectrum analyzer input from high-level transients from the line impedance stabilization networks during EMC conducted emissions testing. It has a combined frequency range of 9 kHz to 30 MHz. The built in high pass filter helps reduce 50/60 Hz line feed through. (see application notes)

Near Field Probes
A typical emi emission test is performed using broadband EMC antennas such as biconical, log periodics, Combilogs and horns. These antennas usually placed at 1, 3 or 10 meter distance as required by the test specification. These is considered far field measurements and the emission limits are given for the specific distance by the specification. During EMI compliance measurements, the emissions levels from products are compared with these limits. If the product exceeds these limits it is considered failing. These tests are typically conducted in a open area test site IOATS) or inside an anechoic chamber.

Active Loop Antenna
AL-130R
Also known as Magnetic Loop Antenna, the AL-130R is compliant with CISPR 16-1-4. It is ideal for emissions measurements as required by various EMC standards such as FCC 18, CISPR 11, CISPR 13, CISPR 14, CISPR 32 and many more. The built-in, low-noise preamplifier, increases overall measurement sensitivity as well as the overall signal to noise ratio. As per ANSI C63.4-2014, the use of active loop antenna for compliance testing is permitted in a non-sheilded environment ONLY if the saturation indicator is continuously monitored during the course of testing. Com-Power’s Remote Antenna Interface (RAI-100) comes in very handy for this application. It is a compact controller which can be used to enable/ disable RF measurement circuit and monitor saturation and battery low conditions remotely via a fiber optic cable up to 30 mtrs in length.

Line Impedance Stabilization Networks
LISN
LISN stands for 'Line Impedance Stabilization Network'. Com-Power offers a line of LISNs developed for conducted emission testing according to the most commonly adopted EMC specifications like CISPR, FCC, ISO, EN, RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD 461D. The LISN circuit is designed and constructed to meet the performance criteria given by these standards.

Dipole Antenna
AD-100
The Tuned Dipole Antenna model AD-100 is a reference antenna set specified in many EMC standards. It is used in the frequency range of 30 MHz to 1 GHz. This set consists of four baluns and was designed according to American National Standard C63.4. This reference antenna set is used for EMC test site calibrations and for calibrating other antennas, because it is considered a standard antenna according to ANSI C63.5 standard.

Active Monopole Antenna
AM-741
The 41 inch Monopole antenna is required for making electric field emission measurements below 60 MHz per Military standards (MIL-STD-461) and FAA (DO-160) specifications. This antenna is for emissions measurements only. It cannot be used for transmitting. The Active Monopole antenna is generally used in a shielded room or in a screen room, with the equipment under test (EUT) placed on a metal ground plane. The 41 inch rod and the ground plane behave electrically as though a mirror image of the rod were located below the ground, and the ground removed. Since the stainless steel plate does not have enough surface area to mirror the entire 41 inch rod, it is bonded to the surrounding ground plane during use. The AM-741 is battery powered to prevent measurement errors that maybe caused by external power cables. The ANSI equivalent capacitance substitution (ECSM) method is the recommended method for calibrating AM-741 monopole antenna. The individual calibration data will be included with each antenna.

CDNs
M Series
Coupling Decoupling Networks are recommenced for all power supplies connections. The distubance signals are coupled to each conductor in the supply lines according to EN 61000-4-6 standard. The standard M series CDNs have a current rating of 25 Amps. Com-Power CDNs are available for power supplies from 1 to 5 conductors. These CDNs cover the frequency range of 150 kHz - 230 MHz.

Preamplifiers
Com-Power broadband high gain preamplifiers were designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing and certification. EMC test labs use preamplifiers to improve sensitivity of the test system during EMI radiated emissions measurements. Without a high gain preamplifier, signals picked by the antenna that have amplitudes below the noise floor of the test system cannot be measured. The preamplifier gain has minimum variations for the entire operating frequency range for accurate emissions measurements. The Com-Power preamplifiers were primarily intended for EMC applications. However, it can be used for other applications that require signal amplification.

Current Probes
Com-Power's Current Injection Probes are used for RF conducted immunity testing per IEC 61000-4-6, CISPR 16-1-2, RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD 461. Current injection Probes are to be used only when there is no commercially available CDN for the type of port(s) to be tested.

Combilog Antenna
AC-220
The AC-220 Combilog antenna is for EMC emission and immunity up to 2 GHz.. It combines the electrical properties of two antenna (biconical and Log ). It reduces overall testing time by 20 - 30% due to antenna switching. It is Optimized for emission measurements, but can handle up to 500 Watt CW, making it suitable for most immunity measurements . Each antenna is individually calibrated at 10 meters and the data included the purchase price.

Biconical Antennas
Biconical antennas are used for emissions and immunity testing to meet various EMC standards specified by FCC, CISPR and EN. The broadband characteristics of the biconical antenna make it a good choice for making sweep measurements and for automated measurement systems.
